Community Decision-Making
Miner County Community Revitalization (MCCR) will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating implementation of the community plan.
MCCR's board of directors will decide, based on recommendations of the Learning and Evaluation Team, when funding will be released to MCCR committees to implement each strategic activity. The board will also decide based on recommendations of the Learning and
Evaluation Team, when major revisions need to be made to the plan. They will also be responsible for building new leadership within their board and becoming increasingly inclusive of the community, including those living in poverty.
MCCR committees will create activity work groups to implement priority activities or components of those activities, serve as an advisory board to those work groups, and determine release of funds to them as progress is made. They will report back to MCCR's Learning and Evaluation Team. They will also be responsible for building new leadership within their committees and becoming increasingly inclusive of the community, including those living in poverty.
Activity work groups created to ensure that priority activities are developed and implemented successfully will release funding to and monitor the progress of entities implementing different parts of the activity as various elements of the work plan are carried out. Each will report back to the appropriate MCCR committee. They will also be responsible for building new leadership within their work group and becoming increasingly inclusive of the community, including those living in poverty.
Funders and technical assistance providers that are supporting implementation of the community plan will determine, based on their own requirements, the release of funding or continued provision of technical assistance to the community.
