Child Care and Development Center shares updates

The Board of Directors would like to announce a name change for the child care and development center located on Howard’s main street.

The center will be called the “Children’s Care Corner” instead of “Kids’ Korner.” The name had to be changed because of a corporation in Rapid City with a similar name.

The “Corner’s” anticipated completion date is on schedule for completion by mid-November according to the general contractor, Colin Wunder.

The preschool aged services for children ages 3-5 will begin operation in mid-September in its temporary location at the former FSA building. This service will feature pre-school curriculum for children of all incomes.

The “Corner” will also be hiring staff in early September.
