Hunting Promotion Workshop planned

Are you involved in the promotion of a hunting related business? If so you may benefit from a workshop being planned for Tuesday, July 1 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Howard American Legion Hall.

The three sponsoring organizations, Miner County Community Revitalization (MCCR), Southeast South Dakota Tourism Association (SSDTA), and the Center for Women Business Institute have partnered to bring this workshop to Miner County.

The workshop will be highlighted presentations by Jacquie Fuks, Executive Director of the Southeast South Dakota Tourism Association and Bernie Schramm, from the Center for Women Business Institute.

The presenters will focus on marketing plans and how best to promote hunting related businesses in South Dakota through strategies such brochure and website development and other low cost marketing techniques.

The evening will also include opportunity for business owners to talk among themselves about joint marketing ventures they may want to create as well as ask questions of the presenters.
