Recognizing the need for a new housing development, Howard Industries (the local economic development corporation) and the City of Howard partnered to develop the Greenleaf Housing Development.

Located close to the ball fields, a city park, community aquatic center, and the Whispering Winds Assisted Living, the development offers people an opportunity to build a new house in an excellent neighborhood. 

Starting at $6,500, lots are reasonably priced -- especially since curb and gutter, paved streets, and all utilities are already in place. Because these improvements were paid for by Howard Industries and the City of Howard, homeowners will not be subject to a special assessment.
