Financial Check Up
Financial Check Up is a financial course designed to help participants
identify the problematic areas that need to be addressed in their
financial lives. Once participants have recognized these areas,
they will obtain the tools and skills necessary to set the goals and
plans needed for successful money and credit management. Topics
for this three hour session include maximizing your hard-earned money,
planning your spending to reach your financial goals, understanding
credit reports, using credit wisely, solving credit problems and
preventing credit crises. This is a three hour seminar.
This class will be offered March 19, 2005
at 1:00 pm and repeated on
May 14, 2005 at 1:00 pm.
Home Buyer Express
The Homebuyer Express is a seminar that provides participants with
information and resources on the entire home purchase process. The
barriers to home ownership are as unique as the participants, but they
can be overcome. Home Buyer Express topics include: personal
finances and goal setting, down payment, credit history, working with a
lender, selecting the right home and closing procedures. This is a
three hour seminar.
This class will be offered April 16, 2005
at 1:00 pm and repeated on
July 30, 2005 at 1:00 pm.
Individuals completing these two free
classes will receive a certificate towards worth $100 towards the
closing costs of their next home purchase in Miner County.
